How accurate is the price?

Our valuations are powered by real market data, so as long as your car details are accurate, the price will be too.

How quickly will I be paid?

Once we confirm the details and finalise the paperwork, you’ll receive payment fast—no long waits.

Do you buy all types of cars?

Yes! We purchase a wide range of vehicles, from near-new to older models. Just enter your details to find out.

What do I need to bring?

Your car, keys, registration papers, service history (if available) and photo ID. We’ll take care of the rest.

What factors determine if my vehicle will or will not pass the inspection?

The Trade My Car offer assumes that the vehicle is in good condition and meets the following criteria:

• The vehicle is not identified as being stolen
• The vehicle is Not written off or a repairable writeoff
• Has complete service history records
• Does not pass our wear and tear damage evaluation, for the interior and exterior of the vehicle
• Free from mechanical problems
• No rust
• No modifications

If your vehicle does not meet these criteria, we may modify or withdraw the valuation offered. Please see our “Passable Condition” Guide in our terms and conditions for further information.
